The Early Flagship Program

Students enrolled in the first four semesters of Arabic (ARAB 101 – 202) are eligible to apply to the Early Flagship and take advantage of several important resources as they work towards advanced proficiency.

Peer Tutoring

The Flagship Center arranges for advanced Arabic students to provide tutoring to those in the Early Flagship program. Many students have benefited from the linguistic knowledge, practical experience, and emotional support of a mentor student who walked the same path only a short time before.

Professional Tutoring

The Flagship office provides additional tutoring for dedicated students with one-on-one, professional, native tutors. Moreover, our Academic Coordinator, Ahmad Karout, provides individual tutoring to advanced students with a serious interest in the Morocco Capstone. Stop by our office (3122 JKB) anytime to find out what other resources are available for our Flagship students!

A critical benefit of enrolling in the Early Flagship is access to the Arabic Flagship Center staff, who help students to organize their coursework, build professional connections, and prepare for a future with Arabic.
