BYU's team excelled at the fourth annual U.S. Universities Arabic Debating Championship, organized by Qatar Debate Center. Despite facing pressure in a university-level language debate competition in Arabic, the team of four BYU students won the award for the best non-native speaking team, presenting arguments on political and cultural issues.
