We’ve worked with a lot of students over the years, and we’ve seen a few things that have helped them along. Here we present three questions that you should ask yourself as you participate in BYU’s Arabic program: Where, what, and how?
First, it helps to figure out where you are in the Arabic program, to get your bearings and plan where you want to be in a few months, a year, or at graduation.
Second, figuring out what you will be learning at each stage of the program will help you create a clearer vision of what you’ve done and what you want to accomplish.
Third, there are valuable strategies and skills to develop that can help you figure out how to manage the not-so-small task of learning another language.
